Press Release: Ryan Roxie, Longtime Alice Cooper Guitarist, Guests on Rocky’s Rock and Roll Symphony

PITTSBURGH, PA — Ryan Roxie, longtime guitarist for rock icon Alice Cooper, is set to appear on Rocky’s Rock and Roll Symphony, airing Christmas Day on the Music From The 412 platform. Known for his genuine connection with fans, Roxie prefers to spend his downtime not in hotels or backstage, but “in the trenches,” soaking up the energy of music lovers. He affectionately refers to this fan-first approach as the “Rock ’n’ Roll Parking Lot” — spontaneous meet-and-greets in venue parking lots, visits to local record stores, and impromptu performances that have become legendary among fans. Pittsburgh, in particular, has hosted some of Roxie’s most memorable and unique appearances over the years. On the eve of the recent Pittsburgh Alice Cooper/Judas Priest concert, Roxie was the special guest on Rocky’s Rock and Roll Symphony. The intimate event featured an acoustic performance, audience Q&A, and a meet-and-greet with attendees. The show was recorded and will air on Christmas Day exclusively at www.musicfromthe412.com and on Roku. Anthony “Rocky” Lamonde (owner of Music From the 412) show Rocky’s Rock and Roll Symphony is traditionally a platform dedicated to showcasing Pittsburgh-based bands, with past guests including national recording artist Samantha Fish. Prior to the Roxie event, the show had never been recorded in front of a live audience. Attendees described the evening as “a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I’ll never forget.” During the performance, Roxie delivered acoustic renditions of songs from his solo catalog, including fan favorites “Second Chances,” “When You See God,” “The Risk,” “36 Hours,” and “The Question.” He also took questions from the audience, including one memorable moment when he was asked if there was an Alice Cooper song he loved that would likely never be played at a Cooper concert. Roxie responded with “Perfect,” a song he co-wrote with Alice Cooper for the Dirty Diamonds album — then proceeded to perform it live, much to the crowd’s amazement. Throughout the night, Roxie shared personal stories, musical insights, and candid moments, creating a truly unique and unforgettable experience for all in attendance.
