Billy the Kid and the Regulators PARS676

Billy the Kid and The Regulators are a high powered, guitar driven, rhythm and blues band based in Pittsburgh. Lead singer Billy Evanochko is widely-known across the Steel City for his impassioned lyrics, seductive vocals, and stinging guitar riffs. Together with his band, The Regulators they deliver a well-balanced dose of funky rhythm and blues, with heart and soul being the main ingredient, playing countless clubs and festivals throughout the country. The band attracts fans with their fresh mix and interpretation of the iconic R&B experience.

Fresh off being voted “Best Rock Band” in the Iron City Rocks Pittsburgh Music Awards in February, Chip & The Charge Ups released the album, entitled What Happened to the Boy Next Door? It features a noticeably harder-edged sound for the band. Chip & The Charge Ups celebrated the music drop with an album release party at the Hard Rock Café-Pittsburgh on Saturday June 3, 2023.

The album kicks off with “Paying Back the Devil,” a gritty, heavy rock tune that was released as a single in 2022 and was voted “Best Song” in the Pittsburgh Music Awards. “Paying Back the Devil” ushered in a new era for Chip & The Charge Ups, blending a more metallic influence alongside their trademark poppunk stylings…

Pittsburgh’s art-rock four-piece Working Breed, presumably the city’s only band to prominently feature both trombone and musical saw, returns in May of 2023 with its first full-length since 2019, Gaslighter. Clocking in at just over 30 minutes, Gaslighter represents a new and more rock-forward face for the veteran group known for its expansive musical vocabulary and energetic, theatrical live show.
