In episode 705 of the Pennsylvania Rock Show featuring Black Ridge, the focus will be on their upcoming single, “Sweat,” delving into the recording process, upcoming gigs, their bid to management companies, and the “Sweat” release show. Black Ridge, a dynamic band with a lead singer, two guitars, bass, keyboard, saxophone, and drums, promises engaging and professional shows. Their family-friendly and energetic performances often involve the audience through the distribution of percussion instruments, crowd interactions, and collective singing.

The band’s original songs, including “Raw Power,” “Stick it Out,” “New Day,” and “Celebration,” are regularly featured on televised Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Penguins games. They have garnered radio airplay on stations such as 102.5 WDVE, 105.9 The X, 99.7 The Rock Station, and 94.3 Q94. Notably, their track “You’ll Never Stop This Machine” was used for the 2021-2022 NHL Playoffs on the nationally televised “Hockey Night in Canada.”

Venturing beyond Pittsburgh, Black Ridge performed in Nashville, TN, with several appearances on Broadway, including Tootsie’s World Famous Orchid Lounge. In September 2022, they released a new EP titled “Raw Power,” available on major music streaming platforms. The band also recorded custom vinyl singles at Leestavall Recordings in Brooklyn, NY. During the summer of 2023, they entertained the crowd at Highmark Stadium, performing for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds pregame.
